Save the Dates: CJ's 2026 Ambassador Program

Mark July 20 through August 7 on your calendars. That's the window for the 2026 CJ Ambassador Program, our annual certification for the individuals who run affiliate programs day-to-day inside agency teams.

If you've been around CJ for a while, you know the drill. If you haven't, here's what to expect.

The Ambassador Program

The Ambassador Program is an individual-level certification. It's not a team award and not a company badge. Each person takes the certification test on their own, and each person who passes earns the Ambassador credential for the year.

The exam covers CJ's platform, our product capabilities, and current solutions. It's built to be rigorous. People who pass tend to be the ones already living inside the platform week to week, and the prep itself is usually where folks pick up the last few corners of CJ they may not have tried yet.

Why Agencies and Their Clients Appreciate Ambassador Certification

The badge is a real signal to clients and to internal leads that you know the platform cold. It's a great way to show your expertise on this leading affiliate platform – and that your knowledge runs far deeper than surface level.

As we all know, affiliate is an increasingly sophisticated and data-driven business strategy, and the CJ platform has built out many capabilities to meet needs and help teams solve new problems with the power of performance marketing. Our platform gives agencies and their clients far more visibility into what's working, how affiliate touches are impacting the entire customer journey, and where the next dollar of spend should go. That shift matters because marketers are using affiliate for a wider set of challenges than they used to. Revenue growth is still the headline, but agency and brand teams now run CJ programs against a range of specific goals, including:

What to Do Now

If you have active CJ clients, you should already have a designated CJ team and will receive outreach in the next couple of weeks, prompting you to register for the exam. If you're new to CJ or don't currently work with CJ, you are still welcome to participate in this (free!) program. Fill out this form, and our Agency Success team will reach out to you with next steps and details (including study materials and exam logistics). In the meantime, the smartest move is to start poking around. Open the platform views you don't normally touch. Read through the product release notes you skimmed past.

Last year's class came from agencies across the US and UK, and we're expecting an even broader group in 2026. The 2025 cohort earned a refreshed badge that's been showing up on LinkedIn profiles and signature lines all year.
