In their 25th year, the CJ Excellence Awards acknowledge advertisers, publishers, and agencies for their accomplishments in affiliate marketing. The award winners were celebrated at an awards ceremony held on Wednesday evening during the annual CJU (CJ University) conference, which was hosted at the Hilton Santa Barbara Beachfront Resort in Santa Barbara, CA.

Capital One Shopping is an ecosystem of experiences designed for advertiser partners to reach Capital One Credit, Banking and Business card holders, as well as the Capital One Shopping user base. Our products work together using best-in-class technology along with robust data to provide the most incremental traffic to retailers.
Groupon partnered with BrandCycle, a leading content and influencer platform, to boost brand awareness and affiliate sales. BrandCycle implemented a creator-focused strategy, aligning with seasonal trends and gamifying creator engagement. Over 3 months, this approach drove a significant increase in Groupon's affiliate sales, conversions, and click-active engagement.
High Commendation: Collective Voice and Wayfair
Albertsons partnered with Ibotta and CJ on an omnichannel grocery campaign featuring online and tiered in-store cashback offers, giving customers multiple ways to earn rewards. Leveraging mobile, desktop, email, and push, the strategy drove incremental shopping behavior that generated significant year-over-year revenue growth and increased share of wallet.
High Commendation: Capital One Shopping and Macy’s
Gen Digital and CJ revived a declining portfolio into a growth leader through a global strategy and innovative planning. Reevaluating their market approach, they eliminated silos, enabling cohesive pan-regional planning including revamping processes and tailoring go-to-market strategies for consumer and small business segments. The portfolio achieved significant year-over-year growth, adding substantial new revenue, while simultaneously reducing operational costs.

Best Innovative Program Strategy: Quay and Couponology
Quay and Couponology’s innovative collaboration revolutionized the Affiliate channel through their Couponology Corner segment on local TV networks in NYC and Chicago. By leveraging CJ Clickless tracking, they seamlessly tracked code usage from live shows and direct placements, offering viewers exclusive discounts. This approach resulted in a significant lift in performance, showcasing the power of affiliate marketing in new, untapped media channels.

Best Partner Diversification Strategy: Victoria's Secret
After scaling back its affiliate channel, Victoria's Secret strategically rebuilt its program. They prioritized recruiting a diverse range of key partners across verticals, driving revenue and brand visibility among varied demographics. This thoughtful, balanced approach aimed to position the affiliate channel as a core part of Victoria's Secret's digital marketing efforts, with partner diversification at the forefront to enhance brand perception.

The Collaboration Award: LG and tvScientific
LG Electronics partnered with tvScientific to access measurable CTV campaign insights. Through collaboration on ad placement and creative optimization, the partnership drove significant revenue in under a year, with 354% period-over-period growth.
